The principles we follow
In preparing this policy we have taken into account the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Hungarian Information Act and the Hungarian Civil Code. We aim to process only the data we genuinely need, for clear purposes, and to keep it secure.
What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Contact and identifying details you provide — such as name, email address, phone number, website, and social or professional profile links.
- Billing details, such as a billing address and place of business, where a business relationship is formed.
- Security log data generated when you visit the site — including the pages or features viewed, the exact time, your IP address and browser cookies.
- Marketing profile information you share with us, such as the problem you are looking to solve and your main decision-making criteria.
How we use your data
We use the information above to respond to your enquiries, provide and improve our services, fulfil our contractual and legal obligations, keep the website secure, and — where permitted — to show you relevant advertising. For security reasons we log visits to the website (IP address and pages viewed) and use analytics to understand which content is useful, so we can produce more of it.
Advertising and analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Facebook and Google advertising cookies may be placed in your browser so that you may later see Optimalizált ads through those providers. Who we share data with
We work with carefully chosen data processors who help us run our business. These may include, among others, MiniCRM Zrt., Tárhely.Eu Szolgáltató Kft., Google LLC, Meta Platforms (Facebook), Apple Inc., Amazon Web Services (Ireland) Ltd., Arenim Technologies Kft., Counting House Kft. and the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration. We only share what is necessary, and only for the purposes described here.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Security and advertising data collected via the website is deleted after 90 days. Business records are kept for the periods required by applicable accounting and tax legislation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and to request its correction, deletion or restriction, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@optimalizalt.com.
Complaints
If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you may contact the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), and you have the right to seek a judicial remedy if your rights are infringed.
